Isaiah and Taylor Green-Jones, the cutesy gay couple celebrated their happiest day in Portland in the summer. Taylor Green-jones, who is 35 years old and a cardio dance instructor, along with a choreographer came together to create a routine for the wedding.

Flash-mobs aren’t easy to co-ordinate, one must admit that. But a wedding is a special day and it deserves special efforts. Especially if you want an outcome that sets you viral. Not that the groom had decided on the virality. Another requirement for a successful flashmob is secrecy. Flash-mobs are basically a performance if you remove the element of surprise.

The Preparation to Serving An Impression

It took the team almost a month to create a routine, get people together, rehearse the routine, and get the plan ready for execution. The grooms and a bunch of their closest guests began to rehearse. An essential to any dance routine is a good set of songs that can get the audience tapping their feet. So what’s a better set of songs sung by Beyoncé and some Lil Nas X?

Let’s get Viral!

The Flash-mob was performed and the crowds went gaga over it. In the video, you can see them hooting, yelling, and squealing with joy. The wedding might be beautiful, heart-warming and mellow, but what happened was for sure heart-pumping, and kicking up the energy in the venue.

Luckily, the flash-mob was captured and now the world gets to revel and celebrate in the union of this beautiful gay couple and applaud their dance skills. The Flashmob was performed to the songs “Old Town Road” and “Before I Let Go”. Lil Nas X’s mega-hit “Old Town Road,” is a song that particularly addresses the husbands. And as the grooms themselves said, “because it is sung by an openly gay Black male artist,” to Good Morning America.

The 29 year old Isaiah Green-Jones expressed his happiness and excitement to GMA. He said that “Everyone was surprised at the wedding. No one knew, so there was a lot of cheering, a lot of yelling. It was great,”

He also had a comment to make about the popularity, they gained, and the virality their video got. “Online, there was a lot of support. I think people felt inspired … because this video showed a little piece of light in the midst of a lot of negative energy out there,” he added.

The dancey couple said that they hope the video shows “the importance of supporting folks and celebrating love, no matter what that looks like.”

And we see it reflect in their performance. And here’s more of it:
