Make America Straight Again
An anti-gay minister in Orlando has been planning for a “Make America Straight Again” conference to be held in this month. It comes just days (June 12th, 2016) after the 3rd anniversary of the Pulse – gay club shooting that killed 49 people and injured another 53.
What is Make America Straight Again?
In his video, Pastor Patrick Boyle of Orlando’s Revival Baptist Church says that the conference is going to be from 14th June, Friday, till 16th June, Sunday. The conference is going to “expose the reprobates”. It will feature multiple ministers known to “make a vocal stance against sodomites and their filth that they’ve been spreading to the homes and families across the world and the United States of America.”

He said the conference is in time with the Gay Pride Week in Orlando. “They will be out and proud of who they are and daring someone to say something,” he said, “and we’re going to go ahead and take them up on it. This conference is going to be explaining our view, or rather God’s view, on it.”
Furthermore, Boyle says he wants to make America straight. However, his interests do not lie in converting the LGBTQ population. He just wants to further condemn it. “The Bible says ‘That which is crooked cannot be made straight,’” he said
Furthermore, he demands the arrest and execution of gays and lesbians and said he is “adamantly opposed” to homosexuality, which he believes should be illegal. The rest of Boyle’s video features conference guests shouting hateful things from pulpits.
Other Pastors in the Conference:
Pastor Roger Jimenez of Verity Baptist Church calls gay sex “unnatural” and “not normal”. Jimenez made headlines in 2016 for saying the Pulse shooter didn’t kill enough gays. “Are you sad that 50 paedophiles were killed today?” he said in a sermon after the shooting. “Um, no, I think that’s great! I think that helps society. I think Orlando, Fla., is a little safer tonight.”
Steven Anderson is a pastor who founded Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe, Arizona. He is also one of the many spokespeople for the conference. 31 countries in total, including Jamaica, South Africa, the UK, Canada, along with the Schengen countries have put a ban on him.
In 2016, Botswana also officially deported him. He holds the amazing title of being the first and only person banned from Ireland.
This comes to no surprise considering his immense hatred towards the LGBT community and all other races besides the whites.

Thankfully, around about 100 people gathered on the edge of the Revival Baptist Church of Orlando property protesting for the LGBTQ community. Protesters were repeating the line “love is love” and holding signs that displays “God is love” and “love always wins.” “This isn’t love, it’s perversion,” says Steven.
In the past, Anderson has called for all the “homos” in America to be executed by the government. Furthermore, for President Obama to be murdered and for Caitlyn Jenner’s heart to be “ripped from his chest”.
A Facebook event organizing the protest of the Make America Straight Again event said it would be a “firm opposition to blatant discrimination and intolerance”. It included tips to avoid violence, urging attendees not to trespass and provoke people.
Lake County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Lt. John Herrell said the event “looks like a hate group”. He believes that the agency has refused to hire deputies for off-duty security, rejecting a request from Boyle.
