Take a seat, maybe get a book and pen and make some notes too. You will now see the gems that we found on the internet. Gems that were a result of some unwelcomed homophobia. An irrational fear that we have all seen and observed around us each day. Homophobia is the irrational fear of homosexuals. Homophobes walk the earth referring to gays as an abomination and that gays will end up in hell. The realisation of this irrationality causes serious issues in the lives of LGBT+ individuals. Since battling with stupidity means dropping down to their levels of understanding.
Fighting for rights, equality, equal treatment, and acceptance has taught the community to be stern and hold their ground. And when the homophobes pop out, call them out and show them their place. And here are some kicker posts from people all over the globe.
Change the Sexuality
Take a breath and read this piece because you will bow down to Amy’s exceptional response to a mother hoping to change her son’s sexuality. Her mother genuinely believes that if not her, Amy will be able to transform her son from gay to straight.
Pinch of Sass
Dealing with homophobia means gulping down a spoonful of salt before you respond. Or sometimes, just the right amount of sass and zero offense is just what you need. As they say, you will stay stress-free if you quit meddling with others’ business. And Takei knows exactly how to give it. (No puns here)
Flannels vs Society
And this girl who knows exactly what to say when homophobes say stupid things like “Lesbians ruined flannels for me”. Flannels are not lesbians. People who wear flannels aren’t lesbians. People who identify themselves as lesbians are lesbians. Can you stop victimizing your flannels?
Burn Aunty, Burn.
Homophobic family is an annoyance unlike any other. An annoyance you did not sign up for but have to put up with regularly. And we all know aunts like this. Homosexuality is not like being a werewolf. An individual doesn’t transform from straight to gay and back to straight because there is a full-moon. Cut it out.
Careful what you say around the LGBT+ community. I mean, this one is just so pure. This smart cookie basically just walked right into this one. And there’s no saving at this point.
This is not a burn, this is a cremation.
And here kids is an example of why knowing your history can make everything so much more hilarious! This failed homophobic comment that is shot from the right-wing is ridiculous and fails miserably in trying to make the point they want to. Just, why? Why you gotta creative? Your mind is too inflexible for that. If it was as flexible as you assumed, then you would understand that gender binary is an absolute bunkum.
RIP right wing.
Caught You Red-Handed
Like we mentioned before, you will have to lower yourself to their levels of understanding and debate. And sometimes this can mean knowing the bible by heart. So that you can deliver state-of-the-art responses like this one.
Shaun is having a rough day. So he decides to make fun of things his mind probably does not comprehend. Let’s face facts, homosexuality is not for everyone. It comes with a lot of responsibility. This includes pointing out self-sabotaging homophobic memes. How effortlessly executed Nathan! Good jab, I mean, job.
Kenworthy Drops Knowledge
Gus Kenworthy, a freestyle skier, and an actor gave it right back to this presumptuous logical man who decided to counter homosexuality with… making kids?
There are plenty of kids waiting to be adopted because not every straight man and woman is capable of taking care of a child. Also, have you looked at the population rise? Do we really need more children with the lack of resources we face? Do your research, John.
hopefully not you https://t.co/UiwA2471bz

As a content writer, this is something I completely approve of. Sexuality is not something that affects your skills, and talents. But it is neither something that can be dismissed easily since the performance of gender is a freedom that the LGBT+ community has fought for. But being considered a bad writer, teacher, cook, or an engineer because of one’s sexuality is for the homophobes. And this post explains the point perfectly.
Putting up a finger at the haters is a bit cliche, don’t be afraid to venture into these creative clap backs when you face homophobia. Challenge the homophobia. Don’t be afraid to raise your voice and show your support to the homosexual community. Be inspired.
