RuPaul’s Drag Race is an American reality television show. It is produced for Logo TV, WOW Presents Plus, and since the ninth season for VH1 by World of Wonder. The show is about RuPaul’s hunt for “America’s next drag superstar.” RuPaul is the head judge, host and mentor for the series. The contestants will be given different tasks every week. This Drag Race has a panel of judges, Michelle Visage along with RuPaul. And a host of other judges as guests, who critique the participants’ progress throughout the race.
Currently, in its twelfth season with many spin-offs, RuPaul’s Drag Race began as a small cult following. But it quickly shot fame in the pop culture, growing as a cultural movement it became today.
